This list is in our recommended order, not speed order. We won't rank casinos by speed until we've timed their withdrawals, so each time shown is the casino's own stated time.

The short answer

A casino withdrawal has two parts: the casino approving your request, then a payment provider sending the money to your card, bank or e-wallet. We haven't timed any withdrawals yet, so every time on this page is the casino's stated time. Finishing your ID checks before you ask for a payout removes one common cause of delay. We compared 12 casinos open to players in Ireland on 22 Oct 2026.

What a withdrawal time really covers

  1. Your request. You ask for a withdrawal in the cashier. Some casinos keep it pending for a set period, during which you can cancel it.
  2. The casino's approval. The casino checks your identity, any bonus wagering and its withdrawal limits, then releases the money. Some casinos approve payments only on business days.
  3. The transfer. The payment provider moves the money to your Revolut account, bank, card or e-wallet. How long that takes depends on the method.

A casino's stated time often covers only the approval. "Processed within 24 hours" usually means approved within 24 hours, not money in your account. The time that matters to you runs from your request to the money arriving, and that's the one we'll measure.

Are there instant withdrawal casinos in Ireland?

Some casinos advertise withdrawals that way. We don't use the word for any casino until we've timed its payouts ourselves, and we haven't timed any yet.

Even a quick approval is followed by a transfer, and every method takes some time. Be wary of a site that promises payouts with no ID checks. Checks protect you too: they make it harder for someone else to withdraw from your account. Upload your documents when you open the account instead.

Withdrawal times by method

These are general patterns, not promises for any casino. Each casino's stated time is in the table above.

  • Revolut. Paid either to your Revolut card or by bank transfer to your Revolut account. Card payouts can take several business days; bank transfer times depend on the casino's payment provider. More on Revolut casinos.
  • Debit cards. Payouts go back through the card network and can take several business days to show in your account.
  • E-wallets such as PayPal. After approval, the money usually reaches the wallet quickly. Moving it on to your bank is a second step with its own timing.
  • Bank transfer and Trustly. Paid straight into your bank account. Timing depends on the casino's provider and your bank.
  • Crypto. Some casinos pay out in cryptocurrency. The transfer time depends on the coin and how busy its network is, and turning it into euro through an exchange adds time, fees and the risk that the value changes. A payout sent to a wrong wallet address can't be reversed.

Apple Pay and Paysafecard are usually deposit-only, so you'll need another method to withdraw.

What slows a withdrawal

  • ID checks not finished. The first payout waits while you upload photo ID and proof of address and the casino reviews them.
  • Bonus wagering. While a bonus is active, you usually can't withdraw until the wagering is met, and asking early can cancel the bonus and anything won with it.
  • Pending periods. These add hours or days before approval starts.
  • Weekends and bank holidays. A request on a Friday evening may wait until the next business day.
  • Method rules. Casinos usually pay back to the method you deposited with. If it can't take withdrawals, you'll need to add another.
  • Large wins. Some casinos pay large amounts in instalments under their monthly limits.
  • Details that don't match. The names on your casino account, bank account and ID need to match.

If a payout is late, contact live chat with your transaction reference and ask for a written timeline, then use the casino's complaint process. The GRAI deals with complaints about the operators it licenses, and online casinos aren't among them yet, so your next step after the casino is the regulator or dispute service named in its terms.

Withdrawal limits in euro

Limits decide how quickly a bigger win reaches you, so check them before you deposit, not after you win. A casino might set a €20 minimum withdrawal and cap payouts at a few thousand euro a week, paying anything above that in instalments. Look for:

  • the minimum withdrawal for the method you'll use;
  • daily, weekly and monthly caps;
  • the max cash-out on bonus winnings, which can be much lower;
  • any fee on withdrawals, especially small or frequent ones.

How to get paid sooner

  1. Verify your identity as soon as you open the account.
  2. Deposit and withdraw with the same method, and pick one that pays out.
  3. Skip the bonus if you want quick access to any winnings.
  4. Ask for payouts on a weekday, early in the casino's business day.
  5. Check the minimum withdrawal and any daily or monthly caps before you ask.

How we'll time withdrawals

Every withdrawal time on this page is currently the casino's own claim. This is the method we plan to use to replace them with measured times:

  • A named tester living in Ireland withdraws real money in euro to their own account.
  • The tester signs up on the casino's own site, not through our links, so a test account earns us nothing.
  • ID checks are finished first, and the deposit is made without a bonus.
  • Each test uses one method, such as Revolut or a debit card, and records the request, the approval and the money arriving, with the weekday.
  • We publish each casino's typical time across several tests, not its quickest single result.

We won't rank casinos by speed until our own results support it. The full method is on How we rate casinos.

Quick payouts and safer gambling

A pending period gives you time to decide. If you find yourself cancelling withdrawals to keep playing, set a deposit limit, or switch on your bank's gambling block. The Gambling Care helpline is open 24 hours a day on 1800 936 725, and our gambling help page lists other support services.

Questions people ask

Which online casino pays out the fastest in Ireland?

We can't name one yet, because we haven't timed any withdrawals. The table shows each casino's stated withdrawal time, which is its own claim and often covers only the approval. Once we've timed real withdrawals in euro, we'll publish each casino's typical time and the dates we tested.

How long does a casino withdrawal to Revolut take?

First the casino approves the request; each casino's stated time is in the table. Then the money moves either to your Revolut card, which can take several business days, or by bank transfer to your Revolut account, which depends on the casino's payment provider. Finished ID checks and no active bonus help most.

Why is my casino withdrawal taking so long?

The usual causes are unfinished ID checks, a bonus whose wagering isn't met, a pending period, a weekend or bank holiday, or a payment method that can't take withdrawals. Contact live chat with your transaction reference and ask when the payment will move, then use the casino's complaint process if needed.

Can I withdraw from an online casino without verifying my ID?

Expect to verify before your first withdrawal. Casinos check your identity, age and address, and sometimes ask for proof that you own the payment method. A site that promises no checks gives you less protection if someone else gets into your account. Upload your documents when you sign up.

Do casinos charge withdrawal fees?

Some do, often on small or frequent withdrawals or on particular methods. The fee should be in the casino's payment terms, so check before you deposit. Your bank or e-wallet may also charge, for example when moving money between accounts or converting from another currency.

Are casino winnings taxed in Ireland?

Generally not. Irish tax law says winnings from betting, lotteries, sweepstakes or games with prizes are not chargeable gains, and Revenue lists betting and lottery wins among the gains exempt from Capital Gains Tax. If your situation is unusual, ask a tax adviser. This isn't tax advice.
