Privacy notice
What Casino Reach collects and why: one cookie to remember your province in Canada, no analytics, and Visit site clicks logged by page only.
Casino Reach collects as little as it can. The site sets one cookie, only for visitors in Canada, to remember the province you chose. It runs no analytics. When you click a Visit site link, we record the page you clicked from and the casino, nothing about who you are. If you sign up for our weekly email, we keep your email address to send it. We'll update this notice before we add any analytics, and the date at the top of the page will change when we do.
What we collect
- Visit site clicks. Links to casinos go through a /go/ address on our site. When you use one, we log the page you clicked from and the casino. We don't log your IP address, a cookie or anything else that identifies you.
- Your location, to choose a page. Some pages differ by country or province, so when you load a page our hosting provider reads your approximate location from your IP address to decide which version to show. Our own logs don't keep your IP address.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to deal with what you've raised.
Our weekly email
If you sign up, we keep your email address, the country edition you chose, the page you signed up on, and the date and time, as the record of your consent. We use them only to send that email, and we never sell or share your address with casinos.
- Why we can: you ticked the box to agree (your consent). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Who holds it: sign-ups are stored by our hosting provider, Netlify. Before the first email goes out we'll name our email provider here.
- Unsubscribing: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or email hello@casinoreach.io. We delete your address when you unsubscribe.
Cookies and analytics
We set one cookie, and only for visitors in Canada: cr_prov remembers the province you told us you're in, for 30 days, so we don't ask on every page. Casino Reach isn't available in Ontario or Alberta, and this is how we check. Your browser also keeps two small notes on your device that are never sent to us: when we last showed you our top-offer reminder on a computer, so it appears at most once a week, and whether you closed the country notice during this visit. To show that notice, the page asks our server which country you're browsing from; the answer isn't stored. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If we add analytics, we'll update this notice first, and it will stay off until you choose to turn it on.
Who else handles data
Our hosting provider serves the pages and can keep standard server logs under its own terms. When you leave for a casino, that casino's own privacy policy applies, and it may know you arrived from Casino Reach.
Your rights
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@casinoreach.io. We don't collect phone numbers or email addresses for marketing.
