Full bonus breakdown

RocketPlay has a New Zealand page and takes NZD, with cards from NZ$30. The 300% figure is two bonuses added together: 100% on the first deposit and 200% on the second, each capped at NZ$1,000. Both carry 40x bonus wagering within five days. POLi did not appear in any payment list we saw, so expect cards, e-wallets and crypto.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Interac e-Transfer from C$20 in Canada, plus iDebit, MiFinity, MuchBetter and six cryptocurrencies
  • Bonus terms publish the max bet, max win and game weightings for every offer
  • Bonuses are non-sticky: your own money is played first and you can cancel the bonus
  • Deposit, loss and wager limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion can all be set in the account
  • Weekly cashback of 3% to 10% from VIP level 4, with 5x wagering

Watch out for

  • Only five days to clear 40x bonus wagering on each welcome bonus
  • Weekly withdrawal caps of C$8,000, €5,000 or NZ$9,000; large balances are paid in monthly instalments
  • Every deposit must be wagered once before it can be withdrawn
  • Accounts with no login for 12 months are charged at least €25 a month while they hold a balance

Signing up and ID checks

Signing up takes an email address and password, then a confirmation link. RocketPlay's terms make identity checks (KYC) a condition of withdrawing. The casino asks for three things:

  • Proof of identity: a passport, ID card or driving licence showing your name, date of birth, expiry date and photo
  • Proof of address dated within the last 90 days, such as a utility bill or bank statement
  • Proof of payment, such as a photo of your card with the middle digits covered, or a screenshot of your e-wallet

The FAQ says documents usually take about 24 hours to check. The terms allow a video call or phone call as part of the checks. If the casino cannot reach you within two weeks of a withdrawal request, the account can be locked until the checks are done. You must also have wagered your last deposit at least once before you withdraw.

40x bonus wagering and only five days to finish it

The welcome package covers two deposits. The first gets a 100% match up to 1,000 in your currency (CAD, EUR or NZD) plus 100 bonus spins. The second gets a 200% match, also capped at 1,000. To qualify, the first deposit must be at least C$30, €20 or NZ$30, and the second at least C$75, €50 or NZ$75. The bonus terms do not mention a code.

Wagering is 40 times the bonus amount, not the deposit. Each bonus is valid for five days. The maximum bet while a bonus is active is C$7.50, €5 or NZ$7.50. The most you can withdraw from each deposit bonus is 5,000 in your currency, and any amount above that is removed.

Worked example. Deposit 100 and you get a 100 bonus. You then need to bet 40 × 100 = 4,000 before the bonus turns into cash. At 1 per spin, that is 4,000 spins in five days, or 800 spins a day. Take the second offer with a 500 deposit and you get a 1,000 bonus, so you need 40,000 in bets within five days. Even at the C$7.50 maximum stake, that is more than 5,300 spins.

The 100 spins arrive in five daily sets of 20 on Train to Rio Grande (BGaming). Each new set is only added if the earlier spins have been wagered at least once. Spin winnings carry 40x wagering and are capped at C$300, €200 or NZ$300.

Slots count 100% towards wagering, most live games 5% and game shows 0%. Jackpot games and some other titles are excluded, and a Bonus Wagering category in the lobby shows which slots count. Bonuses are non-sticky, so your cash balance is played first. You can withdraw your deposit before finishing the wagering, but the bonus and its winnings are then cancelled.

3,000+ games from about 80 studios, plus live tables and a sportsbook

RocketPlay's Canadian page says the lobby holds 3,000+ games from eighty providers. Studio logos on the site include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Playtech, Yggdrasil, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, Relax Gaming, Quickspin, Thunderkick, ELK, Betsoft and BGaming. There are categories for Megaways, bonus-buy, jackpot, crash and fishing games.

The live casino includes blackjack, roulette (European, American and French) and baccarat, with Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Ezugi and LuckyStreak among the live studios shown. Some VIP blackjack tables are reserved for higher loyalty levels.

A sportsbook sits on the same site and account, with its own terms and a separate sports welcome offer. The site also promotes a prediction-market product. Casino bonuses and sports bonuses are separate, and only one bonus can be active at a time.

Withdrawals: a 24-hour approval claim, then weekly and monthly caps

In Canada, RocketPlay lists Interac e-Transfer (C$20 to C$3,000 per transaction), Visa and Mastercard deposits (C$30 to C$6,000), iDebit, MiFinity, MuchBetter, ecoPayz, Neosurf, CashtoCode and six cryptocurrencies. Instadebit and Inpay bank transfer appear on the withdrawal side. The payments page changes with the visitor's country, so check your own cashier before you deposit.

The minimum deposit is C$20 with Interac and €20 in euro. The payments page lists NZ$30 for New Zealand dollar accounts. The Canadian page gives a C$20 minimum withdrawal, while the general terms set €25 or the equivalent.

The FAQ says the casino's own approval takes up to 24 hours. After that, e-wallets take up to 24 hours, and cards and bank transfers take 3 to 7 business days. These are the casino's stated times, not ours.

Withdrawals are capped at €5,000, C$8,000 or NZ$9,000 a week and €20,000, C$32,000 or NZ$38,000 a month. A winning balance above €15,000, C$20,000 or NZ$20,000 can be split into monthly payments.

Things that slow a payout:

  • Identity checks not yet complete
  • Your last deposit not wagered at least once
  • An active bonus still being wagered
  • Asking to be paid to a different method from the one you deposited with

If you deposit by card, the terms let the casino return withdrawals to that card first, up to the amount you deposited.

Mobile browser play and 24/7 live chat

We found no App Store or Google Play app linked from the site. RocketPlay runs in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android, and the footer offers an install prompt that adds the site to your home screen. The cashier, games and support work the same way as on desktop.

Support is by 24/7 live chat and by email at support@rocketplay.com. No phone line is listed. AskGamblers lists support in English only.

Self-service limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion in the account

The Personal Limits section of the account covers deposits, losses and total wagers per day, week or month. A lower limit applies straight away. A higher one needs email confirmation and only starts after the current limit ends. Deposit limits cannot be applied to crypto deposits, so use another limit type if you deposit in crypto.

Cooling-off can be set for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months. It stops deposits and promotions, but you can still withdraw. Self-exclusion can be set in the account for a fixed period. You can also email support to be excluded for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, or with no end date. The page links to Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare, Gambling Therapy, GamBlock and BetBlocker.

Who this casino isn’t for

  • Players who want weeks, not days, to clear a bonus
  • High rollers who expect large wins paid in one go
